We live in a world where there are very rich and utterly poor people. The poor are often neglected. We often forget our duty towards the poor and the needy. The Social Service League tries to inculcate in the minds of our young ones, our responsibility towards the neglected poor, and love for serving them in their need. The fines collected through various means will be added to the welfare fund of the school and decided by the management to use it for the right cause related to social service. Save money save poor is the motto selected by the social service league in the current academic year.
This initiative aims to create awareness among the growing students community on environment protection and enable them to protect water, air and soil. This year Mathruhoomi Seed Project had given importance to three colours. Green (Nature), Blue (Water) and White (Cleanliness).
Nanma is a social initiative project from Mathrubhoomi to promote the value of virtue among the younger generation and to bring out the good deeds to the general public. It gives importance to the social welfare activities. We bagged the third prize for our last year’s Nanma project in Attingal Educational districts.

We celebrated Onam by spending time with our grandparents. We also visited our neighbouring grandparents to interact and entertain them.
Every Wednesday we distributed 70 food packets to the patients of Govt. Hospital, Varkala. Through this we are expected to spread awareness among students to know the value of helping our fellow human beings.
The students, teaching and non teaching staff, residents of neighbouring houses and shops are informed to collect plastic from their houses and shops. These plastics would be collected in the school.
